Commodore acquires vessel

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -- Commodore Holdings is purchasing the 820-passenger Crown Dynasty, which it currently charters, from Helsinki's Neptun Maritime for $86.2 million in a deal expected to be complete by January.

Commodore spent $5 million refurbishing the ship, the sole vessel in the line's new upscale Crown Cruise Line brand, which Commodore established earlier this year.
