The
Crystal Symphony has emerged from its drydock after the completion
of a $23 million renovation project, the largest in the companys
history.
The refurbishment
included a renovation of the Symphony's staterooms and bathrooms
and a complete reconstruction of its social lounge and casino.
Boutiques, shops and the Bistro cafe were redone. A new nightclub
was installed and the ship's main entertainment deck was
redesigned.
The line said that in
the last two years, it has invested over $35 million into
construction projects on the Crystal Symphony in order to expand
choices in dining, recreation and relaxation.
Some of the major
changes to the Symphony:
Staterooms: Murano
glass bedside lamps; Rubelli fabrics and leather headboard; LED
reading lights; and liquid-crystal-display, flat-screen TVs. In the
bathrooms, oval, glass sinks and granite countertops.
Entertainment areas:
The Tiffany Deck (Deck 6) was given new color schemes, new
construction and new lighting. A round bar with panoramic sea views
was installed in the Satellite Club. The casino has new gaming
machines and a new black-and-silver color palette. The new Luxe
nightclub was constructed.
Shopping: The area was
redesigned with white marble and black accents, with chandeliers.
There's a private viewing space for guests to consider high-end
jewelry purchases.
Dining: The Bistro
Cafe features new decorative tiles, wall finishings and fresh
upholstery in russets and earth-tone colors.
Technology: The
Computer University@Sea was outfitted with new equipment and
wireless Internet access. The ship has cell phone
service.
