Disney Cruise Line is slightly easing its Covid-19 vaccine mandate, allowing unvaccinated children under 12 to sail, starting Sept. 2 for cruises departing the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.
Currently, Disney requires all cruise guests ages 5 and older to be vaccinated. For cruises departing Europe, Disney will continue this policy.
In addition, Disney will eliminate Covid testing for vaccinated passengers. Beginning Sept. 23, fully vaccinated guests will no longer be required to submit Covid-19 test results for cruises aboard the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish and Disney Wonder. Covid testing will be dropped for vaccinated guests on Disney Magic cruises, beginning Nov. 7.
Also starting Sept. 23, Disney will drop the requirement of a second Covid test at the terminal before embarkation for unvaccinated children under age 12. Unvaccinated guests still must provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken one to three days before the sail date.
In order to sail, all guests (adults and children, regardless of age) must upload their proof of vaccination or negative Covid-19 test results on the Inspire Diagnostics Safe Passage website by midnight prior to embarkation day.
