The Disney Fantasy arrived in New York Tuesday morning, marking the U.S. debut of Disney Cruise Line's latest ship.
The 4,000-passenger Fantasy, a sister ship to the Disney Dream, which was introduced last year, will be christened in New York on March 1.
The ship then sails on to Port Canaveral, Fla., the traditional home base of the Disney ships, to operate seven-day cruises to the Caribbean. The Fantasy's first revenue cruise is March 31.
The Fantasy's visit to New York won't be the line's last this year: The Disney Magic, will arrive in May for a series of 20 cruises to the Bahamas and Canada/New England.
