GoCruiseDirect, VacationPort to link products

MIAMI LAKES, Fla. -- GoCruiseDirect.com, which offers Web-based cruise-booking tools, and Passport Online, a provider of cruise and booking content for agency Web sites, announced a partnership that will give Internet cruise-booking functionality to agencies and consumers using PassPort Online's VacationPort shopping program.

VacationPort users include some 5,000 travel agencies, corporations and association Web sites.

Consumers who access the sites today can review information but must notify an agent electronically if they want to book a cruise.

The partnership will give agents and consumers using agent sites the ability to book VacationPort's cruise promotions in real time. The integration of the products is scheduled to be completed in two to three months.
