Holland America Line said it will forgo eight scheduled
calls in Acapulco, Mexico, citing security concerns.
The calls are scheduled on seven Panama Canal cruises and a
South America voyage in 2017-18.
HAL said it would replace Acapulco with other ports in
Mexico.
Acapulco, in the Mexican state of Guerrero, has been one of
the cruise destinations in Mexico most affected by drug-related violence and
has been on and off cruise itineraries in recent years.
