Sunrise yoga and an augmented reality (AR) treasure hunt are just two of the new activities coming to MSC Cruises' Ocean Cay private island, starting in January.

Sunrise yoga is part of a lineup of new wellness and sports programs on the island. Calendars of daily activities may include functional training workouts, sports, a hot yoga and ice bath "fire and ice challenge," and sunrise yoga with sound meditation.

The AR treasure hunt will include lessons about the cruise line's marine conservation programming. Guests will use their mobile devices to participate, searching for scannable wooden sculptures throughout the island.

MSC is also bringing characters from the onboard Lego parade to shore through a Lego pop-up at the welcome pavilion.

Ocean Cay, MSC's private island in the Bahamas, opened in 2019. It currently offers active shore excursions like jet skiing and kayaking, and it has a spa. In the evening, there is an LED light show on the lighthouse and a beach party.
