The MSC Magnifica was named in Hamburg, Germany, this past weekend by Italian film star Sophia Loren.
German and Italian entertainers performed at the ceremony, according to the Port of Hamburg.
The Magnifica, sister to the MSC Fantasia, is MSC’s 11th cruise ship and the eighth named by Loren.
