American Queen Voyages has relaunched the Ocean Navigator coastal cruising ship (the former Victory II) after more than two years out of service.
The 202-guest Navigator returned to service with a 17-day itinerary from Savannah, Ga. The ship will cruise the East Coast, calling on ports including Charleston, S.C.; Norfolk, Va.; Baltimore; Newport, R.I.; and Nantucket, Mass. The cruise ends in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
"The return of Ocean Navigator signals yet another opportunity to explore with us beyond the Mississippi River, without the uncertainty and the complexity of international travel," said John Waggoner, founder and chairman of American Queen Voyages.
Sister ship Ocean Voyager (the former Victory I) will make its way north toward the Great Lakes after completing a sailing from Jacksonville, Fla., on April 12.
The Navigator and the Voyager will arrive in Toronto on May 10 and 12, respectively.
American Queen Voyages' new expedition ship, Ocean Victory, will debut on May 6 with a cruise between Vancouver and Sitka, Alaska.
