Oceania Cruises rolled out excursion packages that can be booked before departure at savings of up to 40%.
Two package options are offered on 2012 cruises.
The Your World Collection enables passengers to select a combination of excursions and save 25% off onboard prices. The minimum number of excursions per package varies based on the number of ports on the itinerary. For example, on a voyage with eight ports, the minimum is five excursions.
The Unlimited Passport Collection offers unlimited shore excursions throughout the voyage and savings of up to 40%. Passengers pay one price for the entire cruise and can book an unlimited number of excursions.
Unlimited Passport Collection prices will vary based on the number of ports on the itinerary. For example, the package price for a cruise with seven ports is $699 per person. Passengers who purchase the Unlimited Passport Collection also will receive discounts on limited-availability tours, Oceania said.
Oceania also offers an "a la carte" option, enabling passengers to save 10% on individual excursions if they book prior to departure.
The excursion packages are fully refundable until the departure date. A la carte tours are fully refundable until 36 hours before the excursion.
