Oceania Cruises unveiled inaugural-season itineraries for the 1,250-passenger Riviera.
The ship, under construction at Fincantieri's Italian shipyard in Sestri Ponente, is slated to be christened April 6 at a port in the Italian or French riviera.
From April 14 through Nov. 29, 2012, the Riviera will sail 13 itineraries on a total of 21 voyages, calling at ports in France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Turkey as well as Israel, Croatia, Cyprus, Montenegro, Morocco and Monaco.
Its maiden voyage, departing April 14, is a 10-day Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona to Athens, calling at Marseille, France; Livorno, Amalfi/Positano and Rome, Italy; Taormina, Sicily; Kusadasi, Turkey; and Santorini, Greece.
The Riviera will have 10 dining venues, a Canyon Ranch SpaClub, the Bon Appétit Culinary Center and the Artist Loft enrichment center.
Clients who book by Aug. 31 will receive a free hotel stay and savings of up to $3,000 per stateroom. Fares begin at $1,999 per guest and include free roundtrip economy air from 22 North American cities.
