SANTA CLARITA, Calif.
-- Princess Cruises is expanding its options in the Mediterranean
in 2006 and is adding Med-based cruises on the Golden Princess.
The Golden Princess,
which is based exclusively in Southampton, England, this year, will
head south and east in 2006 to sail a series of Greek Isles
cruises, a voyage to Egypt during a 12-day roundtrip cruise from
Rome and two repositioning voyages between Rome and
Southampton.
The Grand Princess
also will sail the Greek Isles and will reprise its signature
12-day Grand Mediterranean cruises, which sail between Barcelona,
Spain, and Venice. The Grand Princess also adds a new call for
Princess -- Elba, Italy -- to its transatlantic sailing from
Galveston, Texas, to Rome on April 15.
The Sea Princess,
meanwhile, will sail five 14-day cruises from Southampton to the
Mediterranean.
