Princess Cruises said six more ships will get its fastest
Internet service this year, bringing the total to 10.
The MedallionNet technology offers unlimited, fast Internet
service at sea, with charges starting at $10 a day for single devices (if
purchased for the entirety of the voyage).
The roll-out schedule for the service in 2019 starts with
the Coral Princess on April 5 and the Island Princess on May 15. It continues
with the Crown Princess on June 30, Emerald Princess on Aug. 3, the new Sky
Princess on Oct. 12 and the Golden Princess on Dec. 20.
Currently the service is on four ships: the Caribbean,
Regal, Royal and Ruby Princess.
