Princess and Cunard let agents cash in tour conductor credits

Beginning with September sailings, Princess Cruises and Cunard Line will allow agencies to turn tour conductor credits into cash.

Agencies earn one tour conductor credit (equal to one passenger fare) for every 16 people booked into a group. An agency choosing a cash refund will receive payment seven to 10 days before the cruise departs.

“We’ve listened to feedback from our agents and understand the importance of timely payment and cash flow to agencies, especially for smaller businesses in these economically challenging times,” said Jan Swartz, executive vice president of sales, marketing and customer service for Princess Cruises and Cunard Line. “And we’re pleased to be the first cruise lines to offer this benefit to our agent partners.”
