Alaska bookings surged for Princess Cruises last month, helping the cruise line set a booking record for the region in January.
Alaska bookings last month surpassed any January in the brand's history by more than 20%, the line said Tuesday.
Princess isn't the only line noting strong bookings in Alaska. Regent Seven Seas Cruises chief sales officer Steve Odell said Alaska bookings are trending up at the luxury line. Royal Caribbean Group also noted during its earnings call last week that Alaska has performed particularly well.
