Regent Seven Seas Cruises launched its first cruise from the U.S. since March 2020, when the Seven Seas Explorer departed Miami on Nov. 15.
The ship is on an eight-day sailing to Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras and Costa Rica that will end in Colon, Panama.
The Explorer will cruise the Caribbean until March, when it will redeploy to Europe. It became the second Regent ship to return to service on Oct. 15, following the Seven Seas Splendor, which returned on Sept. 11.
"Our return to Miami is another huge step forward as we reintroduce our fleet to the seas and offer our guests the unrivaled Regent experience once more," said Regent Seven Seas Cruises CEO Jason Montague.
The next Regent ship to resume sailing will be the Seven Seas Mariner, departing Dec. 18 from Miami, followed by Seven Seas Navigator on Jan. 6 from Miami. The Seven Seas Voyager will return on Feb. 15 in Barcelona.
All Regent guests and crew must be vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to sail.
