The countdown for Virgin Voyages' new Brilliant Lady ship is down to 154 days, and the line announced a feature to anticipate: Spanish-inspired cuisine at Rojo by Razzle Dazzle.
It's a new version of Razzle Dazzle for Virgin Voyages. On the line's other ships, Virgin recently implemented a Chinese-inspired menu and calls the restaurant Lucky Lotus by Razzle Dazzle.
At Rojo, Brilliant Lady guests can anticipate tapas and sangria when the ship enters service in September. They also can expect a casual dining experience by day and a more elevated one in the evening. The Spanish-American brunch will feature items such as ham croquettes, frittatas and acai bowls.
Behind the menu is four-time James Beard Award nominee Justin Severino and Nate Hobart, co-chefs at Morcilla, a Spanish-style charcuteria in Pittsburgh. Morcilla will bring some menu items to Rojo by Razzle Dazzle, including an oxtail montadito (braised oxtail, caramelized onion, mahón cheese on crostini).
A Barcelona-based consultant helped with the cocktail menu, and the wine menu will include a variety of Spanish offerings.
The Brilliant Lady will be Virgin's fourth ship, debuting in New York this September.
