Silversea Cruises' Silver Shadow has a new look, following a renovation completed during the two weeks that the luxury ship spent in drydock in Singapore, before returning to service on March 19.
As with the refurbishment of sister ship the Silver Whisper last year, the Silver Shadow's enhancements echo the contemporary design themes and color palettes of Silversea's newest ship, the Silver Spirit.
As part of the makeover, all suites aboard the Silver Shadow received new carpeting, curtains and veranda furniture, while the Owner’s, Grand, Royal and Silver suites were outfitted with Bang & Olufsen home audio systems.
Public areas have new upholstery, carpets, curtains and wall treatments, and new carpeting was installed in all corridors, landings and staircases.
Outdoor spaces also were part of the overhaul. The ship’s jogging track has new synthetic turf, and the pool deck furniture was replaced.
A new sound and light system for evening entertainment and outdoor shows also was added.
The pool was retiled, and an awning was installed over the outdoor dining section of La Terrazza.
