Christian Sauleau, rejoined Silversea Cruises as executive vice president of fleet operations He will oversee marine, technical, hotel, crewing, entertainment and land programs.

Sauleau, who was the line's senior vice president of operations in the mid-1990s, will be based in Silversea's Fort Lauderdale office.

Sauleau's hiring comes during a shakeup of the Silversea's operations management, as the line expects to finalize an agreement shortly with V. Ships for technical management (including new-build supervision), marine operations and crew management services.

Silversea said that it anticipates that a number of operations employees in Silversea's Monaco office will move to V. Ships as a result of the reorganization.

Sauleau most recently was executive vice president of operations at Regent Seven Seas Cruises, and had also worked at the now-defunct Royal Viking Line as vice president of hotel operations.

Silversea said that Rocco Auteri, senior vice president of fleet operations, and Silvio Rossi, vice president of hotel operations, are leaving Silversea in conjunction with the V.ships move.
