Two passengers on a P&O Cruises world cruise are recovering after being shot in a robbery in Barbados on March 17.

British media reports quote Royal Barbados Police as saying two men have been detained in connection with the assault.

P&O Adonia passenger Phillip Prior, 72, was hit on the left side and his wife Ann, 59, was shot in the thigh during the attack, in which Ann Prior's handbag was snatched, according to a report in The Evening Standard.

The report said Ann Prior had been released from the hospital and quoted a police inspector who said Phillip Prior is resting comfortably and is in good spirits.
