NEW YORK -- The Canyon Ranch Health Resorts, with properties in the
Berkshires (Lenox, Mass.) and Tucson, Ariz., is offering a Parent
& Child Savings program at both resorts.
Under the plan, the parent pays full price and the first child,
age 16 to adult, receives 50% off nightly all-inclusive rates when
sharing a room with the parent. Each additional offspring in the
room receives 25% off the nightly rate.
According to a spokeswoman at Canyon Ranch, there is no limit to
the age of the "child" under the plan.
"A 60-year-old mother could bring her 30-year-old daughter, for
example," the spokeswoman said. The minimum age for guests at the
resort is 16.
Through June 30, standard rates for three nights at Canyon Ranch
in the Berkshires start at $1,700 per adult. Regular rates at
Canyon Ranch in Tucson start at $2,700 per adult for four nights,
May 1 to Oct. 15.
Included in the cost is $105 worth of Health & Healing
services at each resort; $190 in Spa & Sports services at the
property in the Berkshires, and $380 in Spa & Sports in Tucson.
Services can be shared by parent and child.
