Disney plans Philadelphia indoor park

PHILADELPHIA -- Disney is coming to the City of Brotherly Love.

Disney Regional Entertainment said it will open a DisneyQuest virtual-reality indoor theme park on Market Street East in Philadelphia as part of a multimillion-dollar, mixed-use complex. Designed to attract families with kids, the 80,000-square-foot attraction will offer five floors of cyber games.

Other components of the 1.1 million-square-foot development include a 1,200-spot parking garage, a 20-screen movie complex, a health club and shops. Construction is scheduled to begin within the first quarter of next year.
