SEATTLE -- Gray Line of Alaska expanded its portfolio of cruise
and cruise-tour options this summer to include ships not only of
its two affiliate companies, Holland America Line-Westours and
Carnival, but Celebrity Cruises, as well.
The operator will offer programs ranging in length from four to
11 days, including a four-day northbound Inside Passage sailing
from Vancouver, British Columbia, with stops in Juneau and Skagway,
and a five-day southbound voyage departing Skagway and stopping at
Ketchikan and entering Glacier Bay on the ships of Holland America
Line.
Its eight-day cruise-tour features four days on a Holland
America ship in the Inside Passage, with a ride on the White Pass
& Yukon narrow-gauge railroad from Skagway to Whitehorse and a
road trip on the Alaska-Yukon Explorer lounge-cruiser coaches from
Whitehorse to Fairbanks by way of the Alaska Highway.
The company's longest cruise-tours -- both 11 days -- include a
seven-day cruise on the ships of either Carnival or Celebrity,
followed by a Denali/Anchorage land tour.
Cruise and cruise-tour fares start at $625 per person,
double.
