NASSAU, Bahamas -- A spa facility debuted at Graycliff, the
14-room, upscale inn here known for its five-star restaurant and
cigar factory.
The Spa at Graycliff, which opened its doors in mid-2002,
features a range of salon services as well as a selection of spa
packages and services.
Operated by Windemere Spa, services include a spa sampler
package that combines five of the spa's most popular
treatments.
A body scrub, a stress-relief massage, a revitalizer facial,
manicure and pedicure are included in the three-and-a-half-hour
treatment, which costs $175.
For those who seek pampering but have less time, the $55 Lunch
Hour Special includes a half-facial or a massage, combined with a
nail polish change.
The Spa at Graycliff complements the property's onsite gym,
which opened last year.
The award-winning Humidor Restaurant expects to roll out a new
menu and to introduce a new chef by year's end, according to
property spokeswoman. The new menu will combine Latin and Caribbean
cuisine, she said.
The property's winter rates, which are valid from Nov. 16 to
April 30, start at $195 per night for a single garden room set
beside the pool and equipped with a full-size bed.
Also located in the garden and priced at $400 per night, double,
is the Mandarino suite, which features oriental decor, a king-size
bed, an extra-large bathroom with Jacuzzi and a private balcony
that overlooks the Olympic-size swimming pool.
The same rate applies to the gardenview Hibiscus suite, which
has Mediterranean decor, king-size bed, large bathroom and private
sitting area, the spokeswoman said.
In the Cigar Factory section of the property, the Chairman
Cottage is priced at $500 per night. The two-bedroom cottage offers
one room with a king-size bed and another with a twin bed, which
can be converted to another king bed, according to the
spokeswoman.
Graycliff's individually decorated rooms are lushly appointed
and furnished with antiques. All rooms and suites at the property
are air conditioned with private baths, cable TV and minibars.
Rates are subject to change. Breakfast, maid service charges and
government tax are not included.
