LAS VEGAS -- Hilton Grand Vacations Co., based in Orlando, plans to
develop a 33-story vacation ownership resort here.
The project will be the third Hilton Grand Vacations Club resort
in Las Vegas. Hilton Grand Vacations Club at the Flamingo and
Hilton Grand Vacations Club at the Las Vegas Hilton opened in 1993
and 1999, respectively.
Construction on the 1,500-unit resort, which will be on Las
Vegas Boulevard at the north end of the Strip, is set to begin this
summer.
The project will include one-, two- and three-bedroom villas as
well as upgraded penthouse villas atop each tower.
Each villa will offer a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and
dryer, living and dining areas and a private master suite.
The grounds will feature fountains and swimming pools.
The completion of the first of four development phases is
planned for early 2003.
Pre-opening vacation ownership sales are scheduled to begin in
spring 2002.
