A new dual-branded AC Hotel and Residence Inn by Marriott project is set to break ground near the Las Vegas Convention Center this month, with the property's completion slated for summer 2028.
The 233,330-square-foot property will consist of 397 rooms, split between 237 AC Hotel accommodations and 160 Residence Inn suites. Amenities will include meeting and event space, a fitness center, a coffee bar and retail market, a Residence Inn lounge with complimentary breakfast and a rooftop pool deck and AC Hotel lounge offering skyline views.
According to the project's developer and builder, Mortenson Development, the property will be designed to serve a mix of convention attendees, business travelers, extended-stay guests and leisure visitors.
"Las Vegas continues to be one of the most dynamic hospitality and convention markets in the country," said Nate Gundrum, vice president of development at Mortenson, in a statement.
Conventions have been a bright spot for Las Vegas, with the city's full-year 2025 convention attendance up 9.6% year over year, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
