Delta will open a second Delta One Lounge at Los Angeles Airport.
Construction signage is currently up for the LAX Terminal 2 Delta One Lounge, which will augment the Terminal 3 Delta One Lounge that opened in 2024. Delta said it will open phase one of the new lounge this summer, but didn't provide details on what it will offer.
The fully renovated lounge is slated for a 2028 opening, ahead of the Olympic Games that summer in Los Angeles.
Delta One lounges are the airline's premium lounge offering, open to same-day departing or arriving Delta One business class ticketed passengers, and Delta 360° members departing or arriving on a same-day ticket in Delta first class. Also, customers flying same-day departing or connecting first and business class flights operated by some Delta partners are eligible.
Delta opened its first Delta One Lounge in 2024. Along with LAX, the lounges are in New York JFK, Boston and Seattle.
Along with the new LAX Delta One, the airline will open a Terminal 2 Sky Club in 2027.
In a statement, Delta said it is scaling its LAX lounge offerings as new flights launch, including Hong Kong service on June 6 and Chicago O'Hare service on June 7.
"The coming-soon Delta One Lounge in Terminal 2 reflects this momentum, supporting a growing premium customer base traveling both long-haul internationally and on key domestic routes," the airline said.
This opening jumpstarts a multiyear investment as Delta gears up for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
