JIMBARAN, Indonesia -- The Ritz-Carlton Bali here is offering
three packages valid through Dec. 20 that aim to appeal to couples
wanting to immerse themselves in luxury.
The Bali Bed and Breakfast package includes full breakfast for
two each day in the resort's Padi restaurant and unlimited use of
the Fitness Centre, including its Turkish Bath and Sauna.
The cost of the B&B package starts at $175 per night for
accommodations in a Terrace Room.
The Romantic Rendezvous package includes dinner at Sami Sami
restaurant, which overlooks the Indian Ocean, full breakfast daily
at Padi restaurant, a massage with aromatherapy oil (either
together or separately) and use of the Fitness Centre.
Couples also receive keepsake sarongs, which are the traditional
dress in Bali and are required in most cases when visiting one of
the island's many temples.
The nightly rate starts at $250 for an oceanview room, $280 for
a deluxe oceanview room, $365 for a suite and $425 for a Sunset
villa.
The rate is based on double occupancy and a three-night minimum
stay.
The spa package includes breakfast at Padi restaurant, a massage
for two (together or separately), one-hour use of the tennis
pavilion per day or one round of golf on the putting course (which
wraps around part of the resort).
Guests also have use of the resort's bicycles and the Fitness
Centre.
Nightly rates for the spa package start at $255 per night for a
terrace room, $315 for a deluxe oceanview room, $460 for a Club
Suite and $460 for a Sunset villa.
The price is based on double occupancy and a minimum two-night
stay.
The 323-room Ritz-Carlton Bali, which opened last December on a
bluff overlooking the Indian Ocean, is located about 15 minutes
from the island's Ngurah Rai Airport.
