State repeats Venezuela warning

Although U.S. airlines started resuming flights to Caracas, Venezuela, the State Department repeated an earlier recommendation that U.S. citizens defer travel to the country due to severe flooding, mudslides and deteriorating road conditions in the north.

"Road access to the airport is limited," the department said, adding that "some regional airports are open, but no U.S. carriers are servicing them.
