Emma Weissmann brings more than a decade of reporting and editing experience to her role as Features Editor at Travel Weekly, where she covers destinations and retail travel and contributes to social media, podcast and multimedia initiatives. Before joining Travel Weekly, Emma served as Editor-in-Chief of AGENTatHOME and Executive Editor of TravelAge West -- two B2B travel publications under Northstar Travel Group -- and hosted the Humans of Travel and Trade Secrets podcasts. She also helped create and produce the Future Leaders in Travel event for early-career travel advisors.

Her work has earned awards from the North American Travel Journalists Association, the Society of American Travel Writers and the Folio Eddie & Ozzie Awards. Throughout her career, Emma has traveled to more than 50 countries -- many on assignment -- but she equally enjoys exploring her home city of Los Angeles, where she lives with her husband, Nick, and their two cats, Pepper and Pocket.
