Eurail has unveiled updates to its Eurail Academy, an online educational platform designed for U.S.-based travel advisors looking to become Eurail Specialists. In addition to information about general train travel, the relaunched program provides travel advisors with a comprehensive introduction to the Eurail Pass, including passholder benefits, product information, sales advice and suggested itineraries.
The revamped course also offers a more appealing platform and a simplified format consisting of two levels, beginner and advanced, allowing agents to learn at their own speed.
"Since its launch in 2018, the Eurail Academy has spawned a network of over 600 Eurail Specialists," said Clarissa Mattos, North American market manager at Eurail.
"We simplified the course for current and potential agents in order to emphasize product information and knowledge," Mattos said, "rather than provide a heavily academic experience."
By becoming a Eurail Specialist in the U.S., travel advisors and sales agents gain access to Eurail marketing materials and product resources as well as added bonuses, including two Continuing Education Units, or CEUs, from the Travel Institute and a chance to win a pair of Eurail Global Passes.
To celebrate the Academy's relaunch, Eurail is giving away a $500 Amazon gift card to the first agent who completes the course with a 100% score.
