The Imperial Hotel, Bloomsbury London is set to reopen in 2026 following an extensive renovation.

Overlooking Russell Square in the Bloomsbury district, the four-star property is owned and operated by Imperial London Hotels and will serve as the flagship of the family-owned hospitality group.

Amenities will include 357 rooms and suites, adaptable public spaces and a 10th-floor rooftop bar and restaurant with panoramic views of the city.

Renovations are being overseen by lead architects Cube Design Ltd. and interior designers Trevillion Interiors Ltd. and Keane Brands.

Original architectural elements, including the Brutalist exterior and geometric window design, are being preserved, while the interiors will blend 1960s and contemporary design features.

Imperial London Hotels has partnered with CleanConscienceTM, a charity that ensured the surplus and redundant assets from the existing hotel were donated for reuse.
