Up Norway introduced a seven-day Beauty of May: Norway's Mountains & Fjords journey designed to highlight the destination in varyrhet (the Norwegian word for spring).

The itinerary showcases the contrast between Oslo's cultural attractions and the Hardangervidda plateau, the Hardangerfjord and, finally, the city of Bergen.

Highlights include the Snohetta's Opera House and the new Munch Museum in Oslo; Geilo Mountain Lodge at the edge of Hardangervidda National Park, featuring mountain lake canoeing and artisanal cheesemaker visits; and the scenic Hardangervidda route.

Activities include a private fjord cruise; a drive across Norway's largest mountain plateau, the Hardangervidda; hands-on baking and crafts experiences; and visits to preserved farmsteads.

Prices start at $6,962 per person, including car rental, six nights accommodations, dining experiences, private guided tours and Up Norway's digital travel guide.

All itineraries, which can be customized, are available in May and June 2026.
