Set inside a restored plantation-era manager's home, the Kiahuna Sunrise Cafe has opened for breakfast, brunch and coffee on the grounds of the Kiahuna Plantation in Poipu, Hawaii.
The menu features comfort food, such as pancakes, breakfast burritos, eggs Benedict, chicken and waffles, and local favorites like loco moco. The cafe has a full coffee program with beans by Kauai Roastery. Pastries and baked goods are also provided by Orly Patisserie.
"Kauai has a strong sense of place, and Poipu felt like the right setting for a breakfast spot that is relaxed, high-quality and convenient," said Kirk Coult, co-owner of Kiahuna Sunset Cafe, in a news release. "The goal was to create a cafe where great coffee and fresh food fit naturally into an unhurried island morning, whether dining in or heading out for the day."
