The Old Lahaina Luau, renowned since 1986 for its authentic dance performances, Hawaiian music and food, reopened on March 12 after closing last year the wake of the Maui wildfires.
"It has been a somber six months since the devastating fire on Maui, where Lahaina residents and businesses have worked hard to deal with this tragedy," Old Lahaina Luau said on its website. "The determined staff of the Old Lahaina Luau, along with numerous contractors, have done an amazing job repairing damage to our luau, which includes fallen trees, deterioration from ash and smoke, dehydrated landscaping and battered furniture."
Having completed repairs, the luau is welcoming guests back to its grounds. Guests may make reservations for performances happening five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. The reservations sales office can be reached daily from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. at (808) 667-1998, but callers should expect longer than usual wait times.
