The hotel is well located on King Street and overlooks Charleston's historic Marion Square—a popular historic park that is a year-round scene for special events.
The hotel is built on the site of the former Charleston County Library, next to the Embassy Suites, which was once the Citadel military college, and which is also owned by Bennett.
