Location and History
Located 20 minutes by water-taxi from North Eleuthera Airport, this petite cultural heirloom is a designated decompression chamber for East Coast elite, although plastic surgeons, lawyers and legislators, not movie stars, are more apt to be spotted by the pretty pool and bar.
Its 25 rustic-chic cottages were once a staple for Hollywood's A-list celebrities and New York tycoons—it opened at the height of Fellini's fame and Marilyn Monroe's mood swings—but the word is definitely out on this place.
