Location and History
Harbored in a modern building, this fine commercial house has plenty of traditional charm built in for flavor. Previously the Macdonald Holyrood Hotel, Marriott snatched up this location in 2024 to add to its Edinburgh portfolio. While it cannot match the closer location of the Sheraton Grand, this property has many takers that prefer its quieter neighborhood.
Nearly $15 million was pumped into the reboot of this hotel, although there is little to do that could make its architecture blend in with the city's Old Town (although this property is in a quieter section of it with less tourist appeal).
