Location and History
Set above the picturesque Tuscan town of Figline Valdarno and about an hour south of Florence, the estate of Il Palagio has been the family summer home for English musician Sting and his wife Trudie Styler, as well as the setting for many of their parties, private concerts and anniversaries.
More than two decades ago, Sting and Trudie acquired the 16th-centuery estate and restored its villa, guesthouses, vineyards and olive groves. Today, Il Palagio is a vibrant and fully functioning organic farm and vineyard with luxurious accommodations offered for rental when Sting, Trudie and their family are not in residence.
