Housed in a palatial building in the center of Interlaken, surrounded by the Jungrau Mountains.
Location and History
Opened in 1856 as Pension Victoria, it expanded in 1899 by connecting to adjacent Hotel JungFrau by constructing a elongated, domed glass roof over the space between them, thus creating a wide central entrance corridor. The luxurious Victoria JungFrau Hotel soon attracted royalty, dignitaries, celebrities and other wealthy visitors. It has been welcoming such guests ever since.
In 1991, the current Victoria-JungFrau Grand Hotel & Spa opened with its spa and meeting and convention facilities.
