About Jordan
Accommodations range from deluxe international properties to locally run hotels, pensions and campsites. Most of the deluxe properties are in Amman, the Dead Sea area, Aqaba and Petra. Staying in as deluxe a property as possible is recommended. Accommodations in Jordan are generally clean and comfortable, even at the very bottom of the scale. There are, however, some exceptions, so it is wise to inspect a bedroom before booking.
