Within the city's dense network of alleyways and streets, this property is the antithesis of Marriott sibling Ritz-Carlton or the Park Hyatt, which are farther from town. From this property, you can walk to any restaurant, shop and many tourist attractions with ease. UNESCO-recognized Nijo Castle is right next door (and a subway station is not much farther).
For this reason, it is extremely popular, but it is a large property (again quite different from the quieter respite at the aforementioned competitors).
