Location and History
The InterContinental Lisbon is located just above the Marques de Pombal Square, from which the main thoroughfare of Avenida de Liberdade runs though the center of Lisbon. It overlooks a relaxing park from a hillside position that offers tremendous city views from certain rooms. The hotel is also directly under the path of aircraft heading for (or departing) Lisbon airport although noise is not an issue.
This hotel's exceptionally central position is a 15-minute drive away from the airport.
