Location and History
Half a block from Trafalgar Square, this hotel is situated directly over the Charing Cross train station, and its almost insignificant entrance leads off the frantically busy station forecourt.
The opulence associated with London's other rail station hotels such as the Landmark, or the St. Pancras Renaissance, is missing here, and the hotel seems strangely dispersed, with public areas gathered on the second level, which seems more like a busy public building than a fashionable hotel.
