Location and History
This riad-style hotel is two blocks from Marrakech's main plaza, Jamaa El Fna, on the edge of the old medina walls, making it one of the easiest riad-hotels to find in the city. Guests can enter either through the large, luxurious cafe or around the corner at the main hotel entrance, which is tucked down a narrow alley.
The hotel was born out of a surprise when the two owners (one of whom is Richard Branson's sister Vanessa) were visiting Marrakech to buy a vacation home and stumbled upon the abandoned property.
