Description
Eco-friendly hotel located at the south end of the city with Tlalpan forest views - 20 km from Benito Juarez Airport.
Location and History
Located in Tlalpan, a quiet upscale residential neighborhood, walking distance to Pedregal Park, 20-minutes south of the city center and historic Zocalo, this little gem, set behind a manned gate, is carved out of the remnants of a 1700s hacienda. It boasts roots that can be traced back to Hernan Cortes and his son Martin. He was responsible for the Spanish conquering that pulled back the Aztec empire although today, the hotel has more hospitable ambitions.
Part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World group, the building was restored and expanded in 2010, and its blend of old and new is enchanting.
