Location and History
The legendary Montreux Palace Hotel opened its doors in 1906 premiering many new hotel technologies such as indoor plumbing and electricity. It immediately became a huge sensation and magnate for the aristocracy and royalty across Switzerland, Europe and even from Asia. To this day, it's one of the most famous hotels in Europe.
The huge hotel is fronted by a large garden with manicured lawns, landscaping and sculptures. The gardens are all that separates the hotel from Lake Geneva, thus affording the hotel spectacular panoramic views across gardens, lake and soaring mountains.
