Location and History
This superb hotel is located across the bay from Puerto Ayora. The only way to access it is by ferries running to and from the town's main pier. Finch Bay provides free private shuttle boats for hotel guests. From the tiny pier, it's then a 10-minute walk along sand and lava rock trails to the hotel.
Finch Bay, like all hotels on Santa Cruz, is located nearly 2 hours from the airport at Baltra.
Finch Bay was created in 1974 by a German and Ecuadorian family, set on the property they'd been living at for many years.
