Bidasoa Hotel is located in the upscale residential neighborhood of Vitacura. It has a long, rather illustrious history and a large devoted local clientele, many who have been patronizing the restaurant for several decades.
The family-owned and operated enterprise was started in the 1970s by the Spanish immigrant family, Sanz. They initially opened an upscale restaurant, which grew in fame and following. In the early 1980s, they expanded to include a small hotel with 30 rooms, set in the same large home as the restaurant, both of which are still running.
