Description
Resort hotel shaped like a half-moon, set on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and is 4 km from the Maricel Museum.
Location and History
With stunning but distant vistas of the Mediterranean Sea and situated by a major golf club, a 20-minute drive to the historic center and Sant Bartomeu church, this all-purpose resort attracts sun-seeking travelers. However, its ratio of meeting rooms to guests—more than one meeting venue for every 10 guest rooms—is telling.
The eastern edge of Sitges is a popular resort area and provides a peaceful respite from the frenetic life in nearby Barcelona. Once belonging to the Dolce group, Eurostars has moved in with more local brand recognition, but also a shift to more mass market tourism.
